As people are seemingly leading ever busy lives, the Low Maintenance Garden has become very popular. Many different gravels are available with the 'Golden' still being the most requested.
We install a 'Geotex' membrane under the gravel which does not let light through but enables water to drain away.
Rockery stones, planters, water features, flagged circles and stepping stones can all be installed into the gravel to give interest. Simply cut the membrane and plant into the ground, brush back the gravel and you have a planting area with no soil to dig over and no weeding.
Indian Stone an Stone
Very popular at the moment is the Indian stone natural paving, a natural stone flag which is mainly hand cut and then shipped over by the container load, this has meant that as more of the stone has become available there has been a reduction in the price in comparison with some of the well known concrete products.
Indian stone is available in different colours with Autumn Brown and Desert Sand being probably the two most requested, with a natural stone product, each stone varies in shade and texture.
Laid in a random pattern using different sizes of stone, the overall finish and colour is amazing. See our pictures below of the recent patio with walling and built in lights. Stone circles are also now available.
